The Little Mermaid

The Little Mermaid can be seen in action at Lunt Fontanne Theatre in New York. It is about the tale of Ariel, a beautiful young mermaid. She lives in a magical kingdom situated beneath the sea. Ariel wants to live in the land above the ocean. For achieving this goal, she has to blatantly defy the king of sea, her father and also escape from the evil sea. She wants to convince a prince about her perfect voice. The new sparkling Disney musical is based on the all time fairy tale of Hans Christian Anderson. Disney's popular songs like ‘Kiss the girl', ‘Part of your world' and the award winning song, ‘Under the Sea', are also featured in the show. The song writing team comprises of Alan Menken, an Academy Award winner and the famous Howard Ashman. Theater artists from all over the world have combined together to bring out the breathtaking musical event, The Little Mermaid.
