South Pacific, the first ever revival of Lincoln Center Theater has bagged 7 Tony Awards and Outer Critics Circle Awards. The show is played in Vivian Beaumont Theater. Children below 5 years of age are not allowed in the Theater. The Broadway show is a recreation of mid-20th century romance of American theatergoers with American book musical. South Pacific focuses on the personal lives of US military men, residents and nurses of Polynesian island during World War II. Nellie Forbush, a nurse, loves a wonderful French guy with small children. Lt. Cable looks for Liat, daughter of Bloody Mary. The creative team includes Bartlett Sher as Director, Michael Yeargan for Set Design, Catherine Zuber for Costume Design, Scott Lehrer for Sound Design. The cast include Kelli O'Hara, playing as Nellie and Paulo Szot, playing as Emile. The music is performed by Richard Rodgers. South Pacific is the best Broadway show in the city.
