Del Posto
by NYTP Staff

Del Posto is one of the costlier Italian restaurants of New York, but the service along with the fare and ambience that this hotel offers is hardly rivaled by any other. According to the owners, this is one of the rare Italian hotels where one can find a mix of both the classical and contemporary style of Italian cooking. To put it in a different way, this restaurant conjures up modern dishes using the traditional way of cooking and this is referred to as "Cucina Classica.”

The bases of the recipes served in this Restaurant are all derived from the traditional dishes and styles of cooking that are still used in the various regions of Italy. These foods are a classic representation of the food still partaken by the Italians, the food that people in America generally associate with Italian food and one that they find delightful to eat. The items offered in the menu vary with the season and yet remains within the scope of "Cucina Classica". To put it simply, this is Italian cooking at its best.
