The Riverside Park covering from 14th Street, the shore of Hudson River to Manhattan’s southern tip is a perfect choice for jog, bike ride or walk. In 1835, Fredrick Law Olmsted’s landscapes offered the people of the city with the opportunities to relax, socialize and play in tranquil and calm settings. The landscapes included rocky precipices, matures groves of elm trees and sylvan lawns. Clinton Lloyd and Gilmore D. Clarke, the two designers added a huge 134 acres of land and 22 modern recreational facilities. They designed the scenic areas and active recreation, paving way for a railroad running in tunnel under the park. Riverside Park offers sports fields and courts, Skate Park and Manhattan Waterfront Greenway.
