New York is one of the cities in the world that never sleeps. It boasts of a pulsating nightlife that you must not miss while you are on a trip to the city. As the magical twilight hours begin the people of the city gather at pubs and bars to relax and unwind. There are sophisticated, upscale clubs where you can have a great time jiving the night away.

While you can experience the nightlife in New York all over the city some of the best music clubs, bars, lounges, dance clubs and restaurants are located downtown. For New Music and Small Rock you can go to East Village. For Jazz clubs Greenwich Village is the place to go. You can go to Gansevoort Meat Packing District to check out some of the trendiest restaurants, bars and clubs in the city. There are great places in Midtown too where you can go to enjoy the nightlife in New York.

One of the most well known places that you can visit to experience the nightlife in New York is the Webster Hall. This is a great venue for night clubs, concerts and corporate events. Another of the most happening night clubs in the city is the Copacabana Night Club. You can also go to the Caprice Night Club. It is an entertainment complex that has a lot to offer to the tourists. The Buffalo Club is another place that is a hotspot in the city.

Some of the other night clubs that you can visit to enjoy the nightlife in New York are the Celebrities Night Club, Bar None, Club 686, Cellar Night Club and Gecko Club. The night clubs combine state-of-the-art audio, video and lighting systems to enable you to have a great time while you are there. The city also offers a variety of music selections including Blues, Alternative Rock, Electronica, Country, Disco, Folk, Gospel and more. In most of the night clubs things get going from around 11 pm and continue till 4 am. Most of the bars are open all seven days of the week.
