The city of New York is situated in the north eastern part of the country of USA. There is a range of temperatures and weather conditions that the city experiences. While you are trying to know what would be the best possible time to visit the city, figure out the type of activities that you want to engage yourself in, whether it is indoors or outdoors.

Weather is not really a problem for those of you who want to take a good view of the many historical, scientific, technical things that are preserved in the many galleries and museums of the city. There are a number of cultural events and festivals that are held throughout the year as well.

Though summer and spring are the most preferred time of visit if you can arrange for some extra clothing you can have a great time during the winter months as well. The winters can be pretty cold at times. The temperatures can go to below 0°C. It is just the opposite during the summers. Temperatures can rise up to 35-38°C. It then becomes very hot and unbearable. In the winters the tourists get the opportunity to see the snowballs. Seeing snow storms is one of the most exciting things that you can do while you are in the city.

One of the most wonderful things about the city of New York is that there are lots of things to do whether you are indoors or outdoors. The ideal time to visit the city is anytime from April to June. However, you are sure to have a memorable visit no matter what time of the year you come to the city.
