by NYTP Staff

All places in New York have something or else to offer – some are quite stylish and modern while others are aristocratic and carry along precious cultural remains. However the latest addition to this lot is the Bronx, with many beautiful botanical gardens as well as a world famous zoo. It also has some fantastic beaches, superb restaurants and great nightlife. The Bronx River divides this borough into a hillier section in the west that lies near the Manhattan and the flatter section in the east lies near to the Queens.

The Bronx is also home to several off-Broadway theatres as well as the Bronx Museum of Arts. Here lies the great landmark of America – the Hall of fame for Great Americans. It also homes a great tribute to its poets in the form of Lorelei Fountain Several famous colleges and universities like the Fordham University, City University of New York, Hostos Community College and Herbert H. Lehman College are located here. The majority of the population is Italians, followed by Irish and Germans. This is where you can find the Little Italy. Today, it is the third most densely populated county in the U.S. It is the strategic location of this county between New England and Manhattan that gives it so much prominence in all fields.
