Worth the money

Staff was extraordinary. This place was super convenient. We stayed one night and checked out the next day. They held our bags for us the whole day so we could site see with no baggage. (No charge) It was close to everything. It was clean and we had no problems.

What a price for a hotel right in Manhattan

This hotel was more than I expected from a hotel right in the city for this price. The rooms were standard hotel size, not the super tiny rooms you'd expect in the city. Plus, there a nice indoor/outdoor pool area where you can sit under the stars in peace, and a fine, though tiny, workout area. My room was relatively clean too.

Awesome Deal

The hotel staff was incredible. The room was very clean and nicely decorated with a refrigerator and microwave. The free parking made it an even better deal. Only hotel in Manhattan that I've found that offers the free parking. I felt my car was in good hands while out shopping etc. Felt very comfortable walking the two long blocks with 2 young children after visiting Times Square. Overall, great deal, great hotel and will stay there again.

Very pleasant experience

Warm, welcoming hotel just a short distance up 42nd st from Broadway. I come to the city for the theatre, and I don't want to spend much money on hotels. For a relatively small sum, Travel Inn was a perfect place for me to stay. Small but attractive lobby complete with Christmas tree, cute little gift shop, friendly staff and an immaculate, tastefully furnished room. This is the best value I've found in the city in several years.

Not bad for the money....good location......free parking

We chose this hotel for the location and for the fact that it was very reasonable and offered free parking. I was satisfied with the cleanliness. It was a little noisy early in the morning with people walking by the room with luggage.

Great Location

Stayed here with friends for a birthday celebration and was very satisfied. I was a little skeptical about the 2 star rating but was pleasantly surprised on how nice the room was. Microwave and refrigerator in a full sized room to boot. Some hotel rooms in NYC can be small but this was very spacious. The hotel staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful with directions and the best thing was the FREE parking! I would without hesitation stay here again.
