Great Room at a Great Price

We had a corner room with great views of the city and Chrysler building. Room was a good size for NYC and beautifully remodelled. The hotel is right next to the ACE subway lines - not the most covenient for getting around the city, but that's a minor quibble. You can't beat this place for the money. Book Now!

Clean, Elegant, and Centrally-Located

I wouldn't consider this room a particularly luxurious or charming one - it was clean and elegant, and fitting for a New York hotel room. It was located pretty high in the building, so we had a great view of the city. The concierge was friendly and gave us many recommendations for entertainment and restaurants. This hotel suited our needs well and was fairly inexpensive relative to other hotels in NY. It is also VERY centrally-located, which I found to be key in NY. I would recommend this hotel to other, and if I needed to stay in NY again, I would consider staying here again. Book Now!

My mother and I have been to many hotels in NYC and this was fantastic! We were able to check in very early without requesting that, we were given a free upgrade, the room was VERY clean and the bed was EXTREMELY comfortable. Location was fantastic and I loved the fact that you had to show your room key before you could get on the elevators. Loved all of it can't say enough good things!!Book Now!

Could Not Have Expected it to be Better

I stayed at the New Yorker previously for 2006/2007 New Years. At the time it was disgusting and it seemed as though it could have used numerous makeovers within the past 30 years. I was worried what we were getting ourselves into when staying again. HOWEVER, I am happy we happened to stay there again. The rooms have been completely updated, new carpets, bedding, headboards, chairs and TVs. The only thing they should still update is the shower head because it still feels like a camp shower. WARNING: Remember to turn down the heat. Ours was up to 80 degrees, but we did not realize it until we were sweating and could not sleep at 4am. OVERALL: Good for the money, good for the price, excellent for the location.Book Now!
