We expected the hotel to be nice but were very impressed with how seamlessly they blended the old mansion house with the highrise hotel. Our room was spacious and very well maintaned. We had a wonderful view of St Patrick's Cathedral and Rockefeller Center. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Our only negative observation is the new motion sensitive electronically monitered honor bar.

The New York Palace truly pampers their guests at every corner. Staying in this hotel has always been an experience full of luxury and happiness. The staff is very friendly. We arrived early around 11am and our room was already prepared for us to check into. The rooms are some of the largest I have ever staying at in NYC and the amenities are great. The drinks and the food at the hotel are a big overpriced but overall a great experience. I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and will keep going back, highly recommended.

My husband and I stayed at the Palace for his birthday weekend and it was absolutely wonderful. The room was large by New York standards and the design is fabulous. We felt pampered from the time we arrived; checking in, enjoying hot cocoa in the lobby (which is very comfortable), and relaxing on the comfy pillows and mattress. We had a very nice dinner at Gilt, the two star Michelin rated restaurant on site. The location is great for shopping on 5th Ave, seeing Rockefeller Centre, visiting the Met (museum or opera), or strolling through Central Park. You may want to familiarize yourself with restaurants before you go. Food in NY is expensive and it seemed even more so around the hotel (not surprisingly) and especially at the hotel. This was a fabulous place to stay and we will certainly visit again.

Great location and incredible beds! will definitely stay there when I go back to NY-made concierge arrangements online before I went and everything was handled with superb detai-our flight was delayed by four hours due to weather and our driver was waiting for us when we got off the plane-well worth the money!
