Beautiful large room. Very comfortable beds. Great location for walking to theatre, 5th Ave shopping, 30 Rock, Times Square. Loved it!

 

Almost a perfect stay. Our room had a very noisy Heat/AC system.But the location ,cleanliness, and very professional staff made up for it. Also the morning coffebar in lobby. Is a very nice touch.

Very nice. Only issue for me was my room location got a very weak mobile phone and wireless broadband signal. So I worked out of the lobby which had great signal strength. The lobby was as good a work environment as I've seen at a hotel.

Michelangelo Hotel in NY city is a very nice hotel in a great location.

We stayed at the Michaelangelo for the location and price. Overall the hotel was nicely decorated, clean, relatively quiet and had very helpful/friendly staff. Accomodations: We booked a Deluxe King and were "upgraded" to a basic suite as our room was not ready at check-in time. The suite was roomy, but if you are looking for a view, you may want to question the location of the room before accepting. The two windows in our room faced a "tunnel" area that was pretty much dark, even during the day, and looked at the neighboring building's windows and some ventilation equipment. However, the plus side to this odd view was that the room was very quiet. So if you are looking for a peaceful nights sleep and not the noise and action of the city- this may be the right room for you. Breakfast: The free continental breakfast offered in the morning was somewhat disappointing as it consisted of a cup of coffee/tea and a scone/croissant. Not quite up to par with other comparable hotels in NYC which include other items such as fruit juices, cereal, fresh toast, etc at no extra charge.
