Excellent restaurant next door---very clean---nice friendly staff--we'll stay at the Lucerne on our next trip.

Very good hotel, decent sized rooms - for Manhattan, good, reasonable food in the neighborhood the attached breakfast place is excellent, and a phenomenal breakfast place is also located a few blocks north on Amsterdam (Good Enough to Eat). The best part is that the neighborhood is quiet at night, but just one block to the subway.

Very comfortable, super presentation, home away from home, centrally located with ample city transportation to all parts of the city.

This hotel is located close to the Natural History Museum and an easy walk across Central Park to the Met. The subway is less than 5 minutes walk away and there are some excellent tapas bars and restaurants close by. We were upgraded to a beautiful deluxe queen room by Chris, assistant manager. This hotel comes highly recommended for families and almost anyone else who wants comfort, great service and value for money.

Our experience at the Lucerne Hotel was memorable. The location was perfect, close to the B and D lines as well as the 1. The neighborhood was charming and much different then the business of downtown. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, and the Thursday night wine and cheese was an added pleasure. We will definitely be back!
