If, like me, you want to see NYC at its' best at holiday time, then this hotel is in the perfect location. You'll be footsteps from St. Patrick's Cathedral, Rochefeller Center, and Saks Fifth Avenue. I chose this hotel primarily because of its' proximity to Rochefeller Center and the customer ratings on hotels.com and was not dissapointed. Book Now!

Effecient swift check-in & out! Thought we were at the taxi stand, the lobby was so small. Room very tiny with no view. But the convenient location helped compensate. Great place to stay if you plan on sightseeing and spending little time in your room! Book Now!

Very Small Room

The location was great but the room was tiny. The bathroom had a slider instead of a door and did not close completely. The lobby is very small and got quite congested especially during checkin/out times. I don't feel it was worth the price and would not stay here again.Book Now!

Great Hotel

We really enjoyed our stay at the Rockefeller Center Hotel. The bed was so comfortable - so many pillows. My only two complaints are there is not a bath tub and the lobby is super small. The staff is very helpful, but not the smiley overly friendly type. They do get things done!!! The location is excellant. It is right across the street from the rink and 5th Ave and Broadway are not more than a couple blocks away. You can walk to almost anywhere. Great place and the rate is reasonable.Book Now!

Very Small Rooms

Yes, it is NYC but I have been staying at other close by hotels for about the same price and all were about twice the size. Other than the size the room is nice, clean and good staff. Book Now!

Great location. Clean room but extremely small. Some of the waitstaff at the restaurant a bit rude. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.Book Now!

I was pleasantly surprised by the Terrace Bar overlooking the spires of St. Patrick's Cathedral. That was an added bonus I did not expect. The price is a good value for the location. Book Now!

First NYC Experience

User Review Rating User Review RatingUser Review RatingUser Review Rating

This was my first trip to New York City, so naturally there was sticker shock about the price of all the hotel rooms. Rockefeller Center Hotel had the best reviews and didn't cost as much as all the other highly reviewed hotels. It is in a good location since it's right across from Rockefeller Center and within walking distance of Times Square, Central Park, and other points of interest, although it is a bit of a hike to the theater district when you're in dressy shoes, as my girlfriend discovered. The good: 1) safe neighborhood 2) room was clean 3) staff was friendly and responsive 4) check-in and check-out is extremely easy and quick. The bad: 1) only two elevators and they always took forever so we wound up using the stairs all the time, thankfully we were only on the fourth floor 2) bathroom door was mostly frosted glass so the bathroom light fills the whole room in the middle of the night 3) the walls seem to be a little thin since we heard one of our neighbors at 4:30am Saturday night (although this probably had more to do with how much they had to drink) 4) the restaurant right next door, Johnny Utah's, seemed like a quiet place Friday night but on Saturday night the sidewalk in front of it and the hotel was crowded with loud partygoers, which didn't bother you once you were inside but did make entering and exiting the hotel a little bit of a hassle I wouldn't mind staying here again. I don't have any other NYC hotel experience to compare with but from what I've heard from other people some of the issues (high price, small room) are standard everywhere in NYC.Book Now!
