I checked in and was greeted nicely, later that same night I started to receive "prank" calls from the desk. The clerk who checked me in checked me under the wrong first name and wrong room. So when the second shift manager came in, she was trying to find out who was in the room. Instead of just calling and asking me to come down to the desk, she decided to call me and ask who she was speaking to and asked me how my stay was going. When I told her everything was fine she just hung up. I called back to the desk right away and was given the phone run around to speak with a manager about the strange call. She told me that I was probably being pranked and it happens at their hotel sometimes. Then the next two days I kept getting "prank" calls. I finally went to the desk demanding some answers and that is when I was made aware that my reservation was not in their system and there was no record of me being checked into the hotel. I asked why hadn't someone just called and asked me to come to the desk, but all the day staff could do was apologize and the manager said that she would talk to the evening manager. I was given two days of comp breakfast, unfortunately after I printed my hotel.com confirmation with my name on it, the comp ticket for breakfast still had the first name of someone else and not mine. As she wrote another guest name on the ticket she apologized for all my troubles. Also, after a long day out in NY City I brought some food back to the hotel to heat up and eat at my leisure only to find out there are no guest microwaves and the kitchen nor the bar will heat your food up for you. They want you to by a $14 burger from their bar instead. So I ended up eating cold rice. Not so delicious. Needless to say I was not impressed and highly disappointed.

One of the managers, (Senecca) was a huge help. She answered all my questions, and helped to insure I had a wonderful stay. I would mos certainly return, jus because of how she treated us.

we stayed at this hotel to be close to the airport for an early flight out on Christmas day and for its' location, so this is where the nightmare begun...the hotel does not have a physical address (number) they just give you directions via an automated voice...I live on Long Island and could not find this hotel and drove around for about 45 mins before someone had me follow them to the location...(good samarathan on Christmas day) Finally being there and checked in we went to the 6th floor and after coming off the elevator and made a right turn to head to the room, the ceiling was dripping water into two large garbage containers and the floor carpeting was soaking wet...and it was a tight sqeeze to get through the hallway...after going into the room I was sooo angry at this point but held my composure...went down to the front desk and changed rooms and she was somewhat puzzled about the water coming down from the ceiling and contacted the house engineer that came by and could not even communicate with me because of his inability to speak english...I should get a refund and will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

My wife and I spent a week here at the Ramada, and we had one small problem with the room. Nothing of any consequence, anyway, the concierge was kind enough to change our room, and have the problem resolved, as well as paid for our breakfast on the day of our last stay. Senecca was really helpful, and I enjoyed talking to her. She was there for us from the time of our check in, till the day of our departure. I look forward to going back on our next trip.

Hotel was a good choice for us. Easy to get to by car. Free parking. Accessible to the subway system via the hotel shuttle and AirTrain. Walls between our room and the next desperately need more insulation.

Staff couldn't be nicer. Restaurant excellent. Bar cheerful and bartender was expert. Car service (rather than using a yellow cab) was expensive but convenient. Not sure about the surrounding neighborhood, but there was no need to leave the hotel.
