We stayed two nights at the Radisson Hotel on Lexington while in New York for the first time at the end of August. We were in town to go to the US Open and the hotel was perfect for what we needed. Close to the subway and had daily updates available in the lobby on the matches.

The hotel is older and the room was not huge but had a nice new flat screen TV. We were not in NY to spend time in our room so it was fine for the two of us.

Lots of great restaurants in close walking distance and the concierge gave us a couple of good recommendations.Book Now!

Costs too much

There's no reason on earth why this hotel should cost so much. The only really redeeming thing was the Starbucks on the ground floor. Location was good, only a couple blocks walk to subway and rockafeller center. We stayed in a petite room which is dramatically overpriced in my opinion, even for New York. Service was generally ok, we thought someone was coming to fill our minibar but no one ever did. Overall, I give it a three. Bed was small, but comfortable and shower pressure was nice. Book Now!

Really Good

I stayed in the Radisson for 4 nights in October 2008 and i thougth it was brilliant. Was a bit worried after reading some of the poor reviews but i found my stay to be the complete opposite- staff very friendly, especially door men.
Room was great- was standard room but the size was fine for a 4 night stay, bed really comfy, mini bar not too expensive and great selection of channels on TV. The bathroom was also fine, plenty of clean towels and good warm shower. There are also quite a few food choices within the hotel- Raffles was very good, good sevice and prices, there is also a Starbucks in the hotel which is really good after long days shopping!!And the room service was brilliant -good choice and food delicious!

New York is absolutley amazing and my boyfriend and I are already looking at prices for next year and will def stay in Radisson again!Book Now!

Tired Hotel

The lobby has been updated but the rooms are very tired looking - dirty carpet, trim molding patched and painted many times over. It was cool the night we arrived (Oct 10th) but the heat wouldn't work. The desk told me the heat wasn't on in the hotel and they sent someone to bring us a space heater. Front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful - the bar and restaurant staff were surly. Book Now!

I don't usually complain but ...

Overall the Radisson was an awesome hotel. Great location and extremely clean. Two things I did not like was one, they accidently ran my credit card and I was charged twice for the room, and second the bed was extremely uncomfortable. They have the sleep number beds and they really took a toll on my body. Book Now!

Stayed on business, glad I didn't pay for it

The titles says it all I'm afraid! Lovely art deco reception area. Sadly looks like the rooms were built in the same period and weren't modernised!

Shame really - great location and nice restaurant food - even if it did take an absolute age to get there!Book Now!

It was OK

I stayed one night at the Raddisson and i really did expect more .... the room was extremly small and the ceiling paint was falling off. Also the portrait that should be hanging from the back of the bed was missing and the nail from where it used to hang was still there. The room had a funny wet smell kinda like moldy and the carpet was filthy. For $200 bucks on sale i expected it to be more than what i was actually given. It did its job though of giving me a place to stay while in New York for 1 night that i can say. Book Now!

Good value

The plus was the central location. It was fairly easy to walk to the subway station and there are many eateries around the hotel. There is even a Starbucks cafe in the property itself. But I would buy my morning coffee in the Koren convenience store just opposite the hotel, more variety and cheaper prices.

They have good strong matteress and comfortable pillows. Clean quite rooms, the only problem we had was the rooms are cleaned very late into the night and might interupt with your sleep if you are an early sleeper, otherwise good value for money.Book Now!

Nice experience overall

The front desk staff was friendly and courteous. Our room was available immediately upon our relatively early arrival (1 PM). The young man at the concierge desk was pleasant and helpful, and was able to obtain tickets to "Legally Blonde" a few hours before the Friday night performance. The following day, he arranged for a bus tour of Manhattan. Room was on the small side, but that seems to be the case at many downtown hotels. The rate was pricey, but in line with other Manhattan hotels; possibly even a little bit lower. Book Now!

Okay hotel, great location

Stayed at the Radisson Lexington for three days in September. Had ordered a standard guest room, but I was upgraded, and got deluxe room with a king bed. The room was ok, a lot of space, and the bed was very good. The only thing to complain about in the room is the bathroom. It looks a bit dated, and the sink was broken. The bed had the sleep number system, so it can be adjusted if you want a firm or soft bed.

The hotels location is very good. Only a short walk to Grand Central, and the subway.Book Now!
