Great location

The hotel is located within walking distance to all the major museums. The gym is surprisingly good with several new cardiac and weight machines. The clean towel and filtered water are also provided. The only thing we don't like is they charge you $$ to hold your luggage after you check out.

Good Hotel

Love this area of NY city. Great place to stay, just ask for a room that faces out. The rooms that face the alley or inward are really dull and dreary. To have a view and see some light really helps. I would stay here again. The rooms were larger than I expected and comfortable bed!

Park Central

Nice Hotel, Great location, don't like the very steep daily internet charges where it is complimentary most everywhere else.

Great room for the money

My stay was brief as I arrived and had an early meeting. The hotel and room were pleasant enough for a work trip. My room was very spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. My only complaint is that I had to go to 7 floors to find a vending machine that had a bottle of water!

This hotel's automated message service never works properly (last 2 stays). No waste basked in the bathroom.

Great location

For the money, the location of this hotel can't be beat (couple blocks away from Central Park and across from Carnegie). The staff was very friendly and efficient, from housekeeping to the front desk. The hotel has been recently updated and has attractive, modern furnishings; however, our room had WAY too much furniture in it (you couldn't walk between the foot of the bed and the dresser). Be careful if you plan to use a rollaway bed--the charge is $40! But that's NYC, I guess!

Great Bargain

A few minor complaints: I reserved a king size bed and after checking in, I discovered that the front desk staff had given me two double beds. They changed my room to a king once I brought the mistake to their attention. Unfortunately, in my new room there was a broken luggage stand and loose closet door knobs. I know that these can be easily replaced/fixed. In my opinion, this hotel is the best choice for a bargain stay in Manhattan. It is clean and has a prime location for public transportation and tourist ventures.

Times Square around the corner

Easy to get to from Penn Station and the airports. Three blocks from Central Park, 2 Blocks from 5th Ave, and 1 Block to the theaters.. what more would you want! A great place to stay, friendly staff and affordable. We will be back to Park Central.

Nothing Dazzling but good value

Slightly run-down, adequate cleanliness. Location can't be beat (proximity to Carnegie Hall, Columbus Circle, Times Square). Overall, a decent value.

Perfect location for theater, deli's and Patsy's italian Restaurant...what more could you ask for.
