Nice Location, Helpful StaffUser Review RatingUser Review RatingUser Review RatingUser Review Rating

The room are very small but clean and comfortable. They did not provide amenities like a coffee maker, however. The decor of the hotel is quite nice. The staff was very helpful and they gave good advice on attractions and things to do. The location is perfect, close to Times Square. The Dean and Deluca deli on the ground floor was delicious and the staff was very pleasant.Book Now!

Adequate hotel in great location

This hotel is all about the location. It is just steps from times square so if you are looking for a relatively inexpensive hotel that is near everything this is a good choice. The downside is that the rooms are so small that it is difficult to move around at all. There is a full sized bed on the floor with virtually no space between it and the walls. The bathroom was not too bad with regard to space but the hot water sprayed out when you took a shower. The front desk was friendly and when I told them about hot water squirting out they said it would be immediately take care of. It was not taken care of before we left. Overall, if you are looking for the cheapest hotel in the are this is clean and relatively well maintained this is adequate. If you plan on being in your room for anything more than sleeping I would reccomend either upgrading or staying in another hotel.Book Now!

Very Compact

Booked here because my boyfriend had stayed at this hotel once before and loved it. When we arrived, I found the hotel staff to be rude, demanding a cash deposit, despite the balance for the stay being paid in full as we didnt have a credit card for them to swipe. We were shown to our room and the guy left our luggage by the door - why you ask? Because had he taken them through the door, he wouldnt have been able to get out past them again! Yes, the room was THAT tiny!!! There was one cupboard to put your cases and clothes in, but it smelt of damp and the paint was peeling off inside it, so our clothes stayed in the luggage.

Apart from the size of the room, every other aspect of the hotel was nice and pleasant, although we didnt sample any of the restaurant food, we did have some cakes and drinks from the coffee shop, which were great.

I might stay here again, but in a bigger room.Book Now!

Very Good

I picked this hotel out because of the location. Location is near Port Authority and in the heart of Broadway. Everything important to NYC is in this area. There's 5th Avenue, shows, tour buses, and famous diners. The price was $200 and up for a single room. Not cheap but fair. I barely paid anything else for transportation. There are pizzarias within walking distance and the area is safe. The room was ok. It's not ideal for families and such but for a single person or couples, it's a very good deal. I recommend the Paramount hotel. I don't see how hotels in Broadway (Times Square) can get any cheaper, better, or more convenient.Book Now!

One of the dirtiest hotels I have ever stayed at

User Review Rating

It was dirty, poorly maintained, noisy, the air conditioning did not work correctly and there was construction going on outside all day long and into the early evening. We had to wait until after 5pm for our room to be ready. Terrible, terrible place to stay at. It would be better to spend a little more money and stay at the nearby Marriott than have to write a bad review about the Paramount Hotel.Book Now!

Tiny Room

First time in NYC so I expected the high price but thought the room would have a little more going for it. The heating unit made lots of noise and bed took 90% of entire space of the room! But it was steps from Times Square, Broadway and the bus tour. Location, location, location - I guess!Book Now!

This was my second stay at the Paramount Hotel and I have to tell you, I did not think the rooms could get any smaller, but it did! And the air was not on, it was incredibly stuffy, and the air just didn't seem to work. But you can't beat the location, close to everything in Times Square. This is the hotel for you if you want to shower, change and go! The price for the amenities you get could have been cheaper, but it is New York City.Book Now!

Don't Stay Here

You should avoid this Hotel. The halls were dirty and rooms very small. You are paying for the trendy lobby and the artwork. I wouldn't recommend.Book Now!

Good Place to Crash, Location is Nice

The Hotel has a great location, especially for seeing Broadway shows... all theaters are in walking distance. Clean and safe feeling. Rooms are compact, but fine if all you need is a place to stay at night. The room could have used a fresh paint job, but they're renovating the outside, so maybe it's on their list. The beds are not actually on the floor, but just very low to the ground so it helps small rooms from feeling too cramped. Staff was very friendly and helpful.Book Now!

Uncomfortable Beds, Nice Location

Beds were the most uncomfortable I have ever tired to sleep in I think because the beds are on the floor - hard as a rock and very small. The room would be okay if I was under 20 but no rest what so ever when you are over 40! The location is unbeatable, however.Book Now!
