This hotel is perfect for us. We have a sheltie that we always bring along and the Novotel's pet-friendly policy allows us to enjoy him while in New York. It is centrally located (a few blocks from Central Park which is very important when you have a dog and a few blocks from Times Square) and its employees are incredibly service-oriented. Always smiling and helpful.
Hotel Was Fine for a Decent Price
In town for a show and Statue of Liberty with 2 small children, the Novotel was fine for a great location. The staff was friendly and courteous. 2 blocks to the subway. Our room was clean and an adequate size for the price, overlooking Broadway. Some things to note: valet parking available at several garages across the street - make sure to get a voucher from the hotel for a discounted rate. Elevator from street level to lobby, then a separate elevator to the rooms - but we never had to wait very long. If you need to leave bags after checking out the cost is $1 per bag. We were suprised by the expensive buffet breakfast, but it's we should have asked the cost before eating.

Great location, love the security checkpoints at elevator banks, food is great and Hotel.com saved me $100 per night on the room!
Great Location
The location of the hotel is superb. The only problem I had was that you were to purchase a 1 week T-mobile wireless card ($19.00) to get a wireless internet service for your lap top. The lady who checked us in did not know that. I found that out next day with other front desk person. They need to educate all the employe

Hotel Novotel was the best! It's located right in the heart of Time Square, so it was real easy to walk to everything. The hotel staff was very helpful in helping me navigate to places outside of Time Square. It was a bummer that the hotel's restaurant (Café Nicole) was closed for remodeling during my stay. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable after a full day of roaming all over NYC. My only complaint will have to be the long wait for the elevator to get to the hotel’s lobby or to leave the hotel. There are two elevators, but one was down for maintenance during the time I stayed at the hotel.
