The first night I was in what was supposed to be a non smoking room but I immediately got a headache from the smell of the room. They had someone come to the room to spray the carpet and around the room and to also open the window. It helped a little. Then when I tried to rest, I kept smelling a different scent. I quickly identified it as being the comforter. The comforter was not clean and it smelled. The carpet looked terrible and when I stepped on it, it seemed as if there was some water damage to the carpet or something. The room was dingy and the hotel elevators looked old. I quickly called to be changed to another room or I was going to leave and go to another hotel entirely. They put in another room which was much better. Looked better and smelled better. I smelled everything. It seemed to be much cleaner and didn't smell like smoke so much. I think their entire hotel smells like smoke. There isn't a complimentary breakfast which would have made my stay a little better. Considering that there isn't much of anything around the area. They have a restaurant inside the hotel, but it seems as if people don't really eat there. The customer service is not great. I could stand there for some time and they would act like I am not even standing there. For the money and the location being across from the airport, it was ok. I would only stay here if I can get a decent room and there were absolutely no other hotels in the area with my price range.
