Awesome StaffUser Review RatingUser Review RatingUser Review RatingUser Review RatingUser Review Rating

We had the best service, Eddie, front desk, was amazing and up-graded us when we arrived. We had drinks in the Library Bar and the gentleman was so nice, we had a great conversation with him. The restauarant again had great staff and awesome food. The only snotty girls were working on the Terrace Bar & they never acknoledged or served us. We didn't care, the rest of our stay was phenomenal!!! We only left the hotel to walk around the neighborhood, but did all of our relaxing on the deck, eating and drinking in the restaurant, bars & lounges in the hotel. It is definitely a place you don't have to leave to find fun!Book Now!

Trendy and Clean

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on a Sunday night. Service staff was friendly, room was clean and amenities were as described. The place looks exactly like the photos on the website. European style hotel with trendy decor and small rooms. Baggage check held our bags for free after our check-out while we spent the day in the city. Location was great as it was very close to the subway and near central park.Book Now!

Smallest Standard Room Ever

For the price paid for the standard room, it was by far the smallest room I have ever stayed in. Was like something out of a lower deck in a cruise ship. Was very uncomfortable for my girlfriend and I to even move around the room at the same time. If you sitting on the toilet in the bathroom, your knees can touch the wall in front of you. Not to mention that the price you pay could get you a suite at other hotels. The only saving grace is that you get privileged access to this trendy bar downstairs... But get ready to spend a college tuitions worth on drinks. Would not even recommend this hotel to someone I didn't like. Book Now!

Some good, some bad

I waited 15 minutes as one of two people checking in while the one desk clerk labored with a high maintenance guest. No other clerks were called or stepped in to help. After check in, all was well and I had an excellent dinner at the Hudson Cafeteria. The room was clean and well kept but small along the lines of A European boutique hotel. Book Now!

just returned from a 3 night stay here with our 19and 20 year old son and daughter and they loved it.Bedrooms are small but the rest of the hotel made up for it.It has a fantastic ambiance, good music, good food . Check in was quick and taxis were always readily available.I would recommend here but my husband struggled with the bedroom size,so if you can ,don't stay in a standard room.Don't be put off staying here because of bedroom size because its such a cool place to stay and you will enjoy it

Very clean. The roof top terrace was incredible. Be prepared for a very small room, very clean, but teeny tiny. Walking distance to so much. Would definitely stay there again.

Amazingly different experience

Despite what you might read from the other reviews please do not let the descriptions on how small the room is from deciding wether you should stay or night. My wife and I stayed at the hudson for a 4 day NYC getaway and simply loved it. The hotel is located right by columbus circle which has a great park for one to sit and people watch as well as access to the central park. The overall look of the hotel is amazing. We were greeted at the front door by the Hudson staff and took the escalator up to the lobby. A very different and unique lobby the Hudson has created. Somewhat dark and cozy with a great music selection playing through the speakers. Yes the rooms are small but the way they have set up the room with its layout and decorations one really does not think twice about the size. We both were very pleased with the room especially with the tv they have on the wall and stereo system. They also have a I pod docking station. The Library bas is a must go for a drink especially the rooftop terrace where you can relax and catch a great view of the city. The Hudson club was packed on Saturday night with a great DJ. I suggest requesting a floor on a higher level. We also recomend the restaurant at the Hudson with a succulent menu. Try the garlic potato fries. Talk about wow!Book Now!

Small rooms, Great Atmosphere

the rooms are tiny, and everyone who knows anything about the Hudson knows this. but it doesn't matter unless you're in NYC to watch TV in your room and look out the window (and don't go for the TV, which is about 10" and in a cupboard). what does matter if you stay here is that you like to hang out in the hotel bars, because the Hudson turns into a roiling party after 9ish. there are many places to drink in the hotel (four bars), and they are all packed (although, the terrace on the 15th floor was oddly quiet and empty). the lobby is pitch black after dark, and music leaks loudly out of the main bar, where a velvet rope leads a long line of people. we saw famous people walking around the entire time and sat next to another in the library bar all night (and if you want to hang out in there, reserve a couch via the front desk; the library is very popular and seating is limited). it's that kind of place, and it's cool for that. the hotel is right on Columbis Circle, which is nice for shopping and Central Park, and subways headed up- and downtown are right there. all in all, a fun hotel and an interesting place to stay.
