The hotel Belleclarie was cute and pretty comfortable. We had a double double with a private bathroom. Three adults to share. The beds were pretty comfortable and the room and bathroom were very clean room was a little small but we did not spend most of the time in the room only to sleep/rest, regroup, and shower. The hotel has a bit of charm it is an old hotel that has been recently refreshed. Nice decor. But the elevators are kind of slow and small. Regradless, we all would would return to stay again. The surrounding area is nice but it is far off if you want all the Times Square stuff. Perfect for us we regularly visit NYC and don't want the Times Square hustle and bustle anymore. Great food ( all 3 traveling are foodies) but a little bit more pricey and some cute little stores, for better shopping I would go else where. The only WARNING is that the radiator puts out a lot of heat. If you do not want that I suggest you turn the dial on the radiator to 1 or * if not you maybe awaken to the 8th layer of the inferno. The first night we thought we had the heating situation under control only I was awaken to Sahara like conditions and LOUD knocking at 7 O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING. Which might have been not so bad had we not gotten in from a night out at 5 AM. The first night was rough but after that we got it under control. So remember 1 or *.

The Hotel was great. The exterior may throw you off, but once you're inside, it's great. The rooms are modern, and are very comfortable. The comfort of the room was great, and it was a great price, especially on a Saturday night during the Holiday Season in NYC

This hotel completely exceeded my expectations and was well worth the low price. It was in a great area, close to cafes, shopping and I walked everywhere. I traveled alone and felt safe at all times. It was my birthday and they put me in a great room and brought me a desert! I would definitely refer anyone to this hotel - old and young!
