Excellent Hotel, Idifferent Restaurant

The hotel was excellent in terms of location, comfort, and quiet. Unfortunately, the hotel's restaurant was not up to the level of quality one would expect.

Convenient

The hotel is very well located and as soon as they are finished with the repairs and improvements it will be terrific. Clean room and terrific shower with double head. Very satisfied.

Comfortable - Very Small

Room was nice, comfortable but very small, especially for the price. Great bathroom, deep bathtub, very nice! Location is great for shopping, central part and the theaters.

Real NY

The staff was fun and quirky - the room was large for a NY City room - and was mod and clean. A great area to be in - with so much just a walk away - I will be back.

Good Loacation

This was a good location, and the staff was very helpful, although obviously understaffed. The room was not cleaned, and since there was no ice machines, the guy at the front desk said he would send some up. Then 3 hours later, no ice. But overall, the price was good for a rather nice hotel in a very good part of town, so I'm not too upset.

A Bit Disappointed

Positives: The bathroom was beautiful and unique. There were gorgeous wooden cabinets. The sheets, pillows, mattress were all extremely comfortable - I virtually melted right in them. Negatives: The were noticeable stains in the carpet. The view from my room window was terrible. The toilet paper dispenser was hanging off the wall. A bit overpriced for what you pay for. The room was kind of small.

Great Room for the Price

The hotel was great. I work in NYC and live in Western Jersey and sometimes with late meetings and client events, staying over is optimal to a late train. The room and bathroom were a good size, the bed and sheets were cozy. It was great especially because I got a great a great price.

Good Hotel, Great for Shoe Shopping

Hotel 57 was a fun place to be. In the heart of mod-town, so awesome shopping and dining were the highlight. Catching a cab was a breeze, and it was very close to the subway ( 6 train ). The lounge area was fun, and seems to be quite popular. The room was a little small, but very cozy anf comfortable. It strangley smelled of cigarette smoke, but it did not affect my stay. The staff of the hotel were very friendly and helpful, and knew the area pretty well to give good dinner and shopping suggestions Would reccomend for the price and location!
