My daughter and I enjoyed our stay. It was a really tiny room, but we didn't need a lot of space. We were right across from the elevator, but it wasn't too noisy. Having the Internet was helpful, but I wish it had a business center to be able to print. The complimentary continental breakfast was a plus as was the location. Front desk was very helpful.

This hotel has a great location to all the activities of New York City. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.

Hotel staff was top notch. Quality of hotel is right up there. Of course the rooms are small; however, very well adorned and clean. For some reason, when we checked-in, they upgraded us to a larger room with a frig. Still a smaller room than normal. Great,great location. We walked to NBC studio's and stood outside to get on the today show. We walked to our broadway play. We walked to and from Penn Station for the Amtrak trains. We walked to the Empire State building. We walked to Caroline's comedy club and tons of places to eat. As with other reviews I found the bar noisey. Luckily the crowd tends to be the, just after work people and they thin out pretty quick. Given its location, quality of the hotel and staff, I can't imagine you could get a better hotel for the price.

We found the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful, clean rooms, even though small, ample space if you are out and about all the time anyway. Close to everything we wanted to do including the subway less than a block away.

When I first checked in, I was assigned a room directly opposite from the elevator. Since the walls are paper thin, I could hear every single time the elevator doors dinged open and I could hear all the drunkards walking back to their hotel rooms at 2 AM in the morning. As the for room itself, it was absolutely tiny (barely enough room to move from the door to the bed), and our great view gave directly onto a brick wall about 1 foot away from the window. When I asked to switch rooms immediately, I was informed that none were available. To make matters worse, the fire alarm battery was almost dead, so the fire alarm in our room started going off at 4 AM, waking us all up. I had to wait another 30 minutes from maintenance staff to show up and unplug the fire alarm. The next morning, the hotel staff 'graciously' offered to switch our hotel room without charging us an extra $40/night. The new room was not directly across from the elevator (which was a big plus), but the size and view did not improve (instead of a brick wall, our view was now a huge metal pipe and a brick wall). I don't begrudge the hotel for the size of the room of the view, given the location and the price we paid. I was simply very dissatisfied with our initial experience. Other than those issues, the stay was pleasant enough. Free continental breakfast (croissants and danishes), free internet, free boarding pass printout, free dvd rental, and free luggage storage. Can't beat the location, either. About 1 block away from Times Square!

Would not recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to sleep before midnight. the walls are paper-thin & we were on the second floor, so we had to feel & hear the booming beat from the bar until midnight. we were out until then most nights, but it made it unpleasant to spend any time in our room bc all we could hear was that beat. Otherwise, the style, location & the room were good, and the bar was reasonable.
