Although the hotel was hard to find, once there it was great. The service was good, it was close to the subway, in a somewhat run-down, but apparently safe neighborhood. The restaurant in the hotel was outstanding. As good as any hotel restaurant I've been in and more than adequate if the weather is bad and you don't want to go out to eat. Perfect hotel if you're going to a Mets game or the US Open. A half hour by subway to the city. Excellent value.

Great staff, old neighborhood
The staff were very courteous and nice. The airport shuttle van drivers and the front desk personnel were extremely friendly. This hotel is across the street from Shea Stadium and short walk to the train station. The neighborhood, though, was run down and we were afraid to be out at night, especially walking back from the train station. The hotel itself is old especially as you go upstairs. The lobby looks all new. Didn't get a chance to explore the indoor pool and gym. Food at the restaruant was a little disappointing.

-Hotel needs reno. -Did not have room with 2 beds as booked. -weird staff that just did not care. -difficult to find -expensive -internet did not work due to more users than capacity, I have never had this problem before in a hotel, ever.

The water pressure is very low and flushing the toilette and taking a shower were very challanging.

This place was good. My only comment was that they advertise a fitness center but it is not in their room brochure as to its location and says "24 hours on request". What does that mean?
