Great Location for the Money

The edison hotel was very reasonably priced and the location was excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that asked. I think our room was a smoking room or at least it had been smoked in, in the past.

Wisconsin Visitor Impressed

Small rooms, but very clean with nice hotel staff. Elevators frustrating at times with the long waits for a ride. Absolutely great location. Hundreds of places to eat within walking distance with lots of great food.

Lousy Hotel- Great Location

First of all I read and was comfirmed by the reservation agent that breakfast was included, NOT TRUE. Beds and pillows are as hard as cement,only one person fits in the bathroom at a time, even if other is in the shower. Furnishings need extreme urgent to be replaced.

Needs Improvement

When we entered our room the first thing we noticed were the beds. We were told to expect two doubles. Instead there two singles push together. Thankfully, it still suited our purpose (two adults and two kids). We also noticed the safety latch on the door was broken. The other thing in the room that was disappointing was the toilet. The bathroom was roomy, but the toilet was wedged in between the vanity and shower. The curtains also caused a problem. We could hear all the noise from the streets.

Great Location

Hotel was old, but well maintained. Personnel were very friendly. Room was sufficient, but mattresses were very firm.

Best Shower

It's hard to explain, but this hotel had the best shower...it was hot, with plenty of water. Everyone in the family commented about what a great shower this hotel had. The room was clean and the furnishings were up to date. We loved the location! The cafe had great food too for a reasonable price. The service was excellent.
