New York City

This hotel is in a great location, only blocks from Rockefeller Center and Central Park. The room we stayed in was a junior king suite on the 18th floor that was VERY spacious compared to normal hotel rooms. One side of the room was all windows with a door leading out to a balcony. It was a unique addition to an already wonderful room. We would definitely stay here again.

I had a great experience at the DoubleTree Metropolitan Hotel. It is near all major attractions. I had stayed at this hotel when it was a Loews and enjoyed it as well. The hotel rooms are small and a little cramped, but it forces you to be "on the go" in the city. I recommend it.

 

Staff was very friendly and professional.

The staff was friendly, and the place is conveniently located. The bar closed early (midnight). The rate I paid was great, but sometimes the rates are ridiculous, but that is the trend with hotels in Manhattan.

Shower drain was not working properly and the bed sheets look like not changed.

Hotel was excellent! The quality & cleanliness exceeded my expectations. It was in a good location too.

This was my forth visit to this hotel. The front desk is outstanding, the room is very clean and large for nyc. Great location.

This hotel's location was excellent. You were a few blocks from Rockefeller Center, NBC, etc. A subway station was just outside the hotel if you needed to go more in the downtown area. The rooms were really nice and very comfortable. There were two things that I didn't like though. 1) they cleaned your room at odd times of the day. It was snowing really hard one day and we were pretty wet so we decided to go back to the hotel to change clothes (it was around 5p) and they still hadn't cleaned our rooms yet. 2) when we were checking out, there were outrageous minibar charges on my bill. The hotel did take the charges off, but it was a hassle. Overall, great hotel and i would stay there again!
