Although the BPH is not in a glitzy neighborhood, it was very near all of the night life venues that we were looking for. They immediately upgraded us to a room with a view of the Empire State Building. The room itself was huge! We reserved the two queen beds room. It really exceeded my expectations in a positive way. I would definintely stay there again.

Very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was a great room for the money with a very convenient location for my needs.

When I first viewed this hotel online, I thought the picture was going to be very misleading, but it turns out that it wasn't at all. The room looks like the given picture online. It is very convenient, because it is close to transportation and close to all the great sights. It is walking distance away from Times Square and the neighborhood is pretty good. They offer continental breakfast in the morning, which was good. If you don't want to eat in your room, you can eat in little kitchen on the 4th floor. I thought it was a great hotel for the price. I couldn't find anything wrong with the room. I liked that there was a safe in the room and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and concerned about your comfort. It was just a great hotel and I enjoyed my vacation.

Overall, I found this hotel to be good value for money. The service and quality/size of the room are absolutely fine and it is easy to get to all the major sights by foot or on the subway which is round the corner from the hotel. Having breakfast and 24 hour tea & coffee is a really nice touch and helps set you up for a day of sightseeing and shopping. I have stayed here with my mum & sister and also once by myself and felt safe walking around the area at all times. The only negative point was the speed of the wireless internet connection - it really isn't worth signing up for this (but then most NYC visitors have better things to do than surf the web anyway!)
