Horrible

Coming back from a deployment I expected a service with a smile. Well I didn't get that. I didn't even get welcome back. When I finally checked in my reservation, the reception gave me the incorrect room. The bed was smaller than what I reserved. So when they gave me a different from they gave me a smoking room after I specifically said NO SMOKING. Both the clerks I dealt with thought it was a joke and ask if I wanted to speak to a supervisor. This was by far the worst room, the worst trip, the worst hotel that I ever stayed in for a vacation. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. They do not care, they are unfriendly and needs alot of improvement.

Clean, Quiet, great location

This was a great hotel if you want a clean room that is close to Times Square. Not too big, but clean and quiet. Perfect if you are just looking to have a place to sleep and don't care if it is fancy. I would stay here again.

Horrible

I checked into the hotel, two rooms, one for me and my wife and and one for my inlaws. The first night I returned to my room and it was about 120 degrees or hotter. Maintenance came 20 minutes after the call and fixed the problem, but it took three hours for the room to cool off to a reasonable level. Neither TV functioned in either room the first night. Calling the next afternoon about the problem I was informed that they would take care of it "after" maintenance finished their dinner.Thiry minutes later they posted.My inlaws had scalding hot water in their shower on day two which req. maintenance.Horrible hotel and nasty bell man to top it off. Stay away from this one. I will. A refund would only ease the nasty memory slightly.

Greatest for price

Everything was acceptable, comfortable and accessible. Service was great.

Nice room. Great location. Good restaurants on-site.

I had reserved a full size single. When I went up to the room I found that it had not been cleaned. The check-in clerk was very apologetic and upgraded me to a queen room which was excellent. I ate at the on-site Vietnamese restaurant which was also excellent. Safe and convenient location. Short walk to Times Square.

Great Value

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was about a block away so you need to call ahead to find out where it is. The location was fantastic, located next to Broadway and Times Square. We had a great 4 days.

Needs improvement

I was put in a smoking room for one night and not even notified about it; I had booked non-smoking for 5 nights. TV remote control did not work Real plus: free wireless internet access

Love the staff!

This hotel is a basic hotel in a great location. The absolute best thing about it is the staff! They are all helpful, personable and care about your overall stay.

Comfortable, clean, convenient

I wasn't expecting much for the price at all. Just needed a bed for the weekend and figured that's all I'd get. I was pleased to find a good sized bed and a clean room, a desk, shampoo, hair dryer, iron and board, Internet access. Shower was good, heat fine. I even had a small balcony. Hotel was pretty quiet and in an excellent spot: just north of Times Square but not on a noisy avenue. Not a great looking hotel inside and looked like it lacked some of the amenities available at upper-level hotels but if you're just looking for a place to flop nights and shower mornings this hotel is a good spot.
