The tragic opera written in 1835 is a popular work of Gaetano Donizetti, the Italian composer. This is an Opera performed by Gaetano Donizetti and Librettist Salvadore Cammarano. The Italian sung Opera has Met titles in English, Spanish and German. Lucia di Lammermoor is the new production of Mary Zimmerman with lyrics of Natalie Dessay. Dessay has performed memorably in the title role. She lives up to her reputation, and delivers well in the tradition well-regarded by everyone. The opera is an 1835 adaptation of Gaetano Donizetti with librettist Savadore Cammarano. Dessay in a stained wedding gown, and tossed by cruel winds. The Metropolitan Opera House is staging Lucia di Lammermoor, the famous production of Mary Zimmerman. The opera has everything the audience need, glamour, representatives from the intellectual wing of Hollywood and beautiful singing.
