This is an opera performed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with Librettist Lorenzo DaPonte. The Italian sung opera is played with English, Spanish and German titles. The lustful desires of Don Giovanni have left trail of shattered dreams and heartbreak. He is pursued for the consequences of his actions. The critically acclaimed first premier took place in 1787 at Prague National Theatre. The Opera comprises of two acts, with a libretto based on Tirso De Molina’s play. The English version is rendered by Chester Kallman and W.H. Auden. The Act I which consists of 3 scenes is set in the Donna Anna’s Courtyard, Plaza Major, and Don Giovanni’s Garden. The Act II is set on Donna Anna’s Courtyard and The Cemetery. The Act III is set on Don Giovanni’s house. The Opera is the tale of a young nobleman, Don Giovanni getting defeated in all the three encounters.
