A Thesis Production, ‘A Piece of My Heart’, is a drama written by Shirley Lauro and directed by Lindsey Clinton.  The play focuses on the impact of Vietnam War on 6 courageous women who include a volunteer of American Red Cross, a career Army woman, two Army nurses an entertainer and a Navy nurse. The story is based on the men surrounding their lives, narrated in a flashback. The entire play revolves around a 20 year period. The period begins when the women are sent to Vietnam and ends with their reunion at a ceremony held at The Wall located in DC. The show is an inspirational true story of the struggle of six women that changed their lives and the nation.
