The event is a joyful celebration of dance and music expressing pure folkloric mastery. The Spanish Dance Arts Company was founded in 1983 by Roberto Lorca and Carlota Santana to popularize flamenco to the mainstream audiences. The company promotes flamenco as a vital element of Hispanic Heritage and a living art form. The musicians and energetic dancers of the company are lead by Carlota Santana, Artistic Director. Being the nation’s premier Spanish dance company, Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana believes in a multicultural art form and flamenco, the universal spirit.
