Queens Zoo

The city of New York is better known for its pomp and luxury. But here at Queens Zoo you can have a totally different experience. The place is a small wildlife center devoted mostly to the animals of the American continents. The all-new experience here at the park will guide you to the wild beauty of the city.

 

You may surprise to see lions and bears in the heart of the city. The zoo has easy walking roots around the habitats and is a nice place to take a stroll. The Zoo has utilized fully all the 5-acres of land it has to beautiful habitats like “North-eastern woods, California coast, Great plains, etc.” The main attraction of the zoo is the American animals all are there at a walking distance.

 

The animals that you can see in the zoo include the big cats, the endangered spectacled bears and the American Bison, which is a real treat to watch. The wild ducks and other birds add to the charm of the park. There are a variety of chickens, goats, sheep, horses, and llamas. To add the charm, there is a small playground for the kids.
