The Federal Reserve Bank of New York situated at 33, Liberty Street in New York is one of the twelve Reserve Banks of the United States of America. The Federal Reserve Bank of New York is the most important of all the twelve Federal Reserve Banks and is the largest in terms of its assets in the United States of America. The Federal Reserve Bank of New York has its vault at an astonishing 86 feet below sea level for security reasons. In 1927 this vault held ten percent of the world’s official gold reserves.
                        
Presently the Federal Reserve Bank of New York is home to approximately five thousand metric tons of the yellow metal, all of which isn’t owned by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. The Federal Reserve Bank of New York only acts as a guardian protecting the gold for no charge which is owned by other nations, international organizations and central banks as well. The Federal Reserve Bank of New York is most certainly one of those places that have to be visited for its importance in the world’s economy. Just remember to carry some identification papers on you and please don’t take your camera along.
