Bronx Wildlife Conservation Park
by NYTP Staff

The city of New York is better known for its greatest attractions like the Empire State Building and of course the Statue of Liberty. But in the very heart of the city there are certain things that people forget to see which in turn are the most beautiful. The Bronx Wildlife Conservation Park is one of them that will guide you to an amazing world rich in great biodiversity. The park is spread over an area of 265 acres with a population of more than 4000 animals. Ever since its completion in 1899, it attracted people all the time for its wild charm.

The attractions in the zoo varies depends on the taste of the viewer; but everyone will appreciate the Wild Asia Complex. It is a zoo within the zoo that consists of Wild Asia Plaza Education Center, an indoor recreation of Asian forests, Siberian tigers, Asian elephants, Indian rhinoceroses and many birds, lizards and leopards. Apart from that there is a Congo Gorilla Forest that is spread over about 6½ acres with red river hogs, Western lowland gorillas, and many other African animals.

The beauty and elegance of the Park has a charm of its own that cannot be challenged by any other attractions.
