Bohemian Hall
by NYTP Staff

The Bohemian Hall is much more than just a social club for the largely Czech and Slovak crowd. This massive relic has different types of side rooms and antechambers branching off from the main bar area. While the garden is meant for those grand sunny days, the bar promises to keep you sticking in even in the midst of winters. The Bohemian Hall is one of the last beer gardens that remain in the city of New York. It is run by the Bohemian Citizens Benevolent Society, dedicated to preserving this precious piece of history. They promise to keep the spirits alive here each evening on every weekday and right from noon on the weekends, in spite of whether it rains or shines!

The beer garden is the only place where you can enjoy the summer at great lengths. This outdoor beer garden helps you to drink and relax in the laps of nature. They cater both international as well as traditional central European cuisines at their premises. A huge garden abundant with trees and picnic tables makes the atmosphere casual and authentic. The folk music often adds to the spirits. This is a unique place which is more of a lovely neighborhood park along with watering holes and family restaurant.
